We always recommend getting in early, so you have peace of mind knowing you’re covered, and have plenty of time to get your site audit booked in for a day that suits you. Luckily – if you have left things until the last minute – our team can turn around ESOS reporting quickly, without compromising on quality, so you don’t have to worry.”

ESOS FAQs
Got a question about our ESOS consultancy and reporting services? Check out our FAQs or reach out to our team for more help.
What is ESOS?
ESOS (Energy Savings Opportunity Scheme) is a mandatory UK energy assessment and reporting scheme for qualifying large organisations. It requires businesses to assess total energy consumption, complete energy audits and identify energy-saving opportunities every four years.
Are ESOS reports public?
The compliance notification itself is submitted to the Environment Agency, but detailed ESOS reports are not generally published publicly in the same way as SECR disclosures. However, organisations may choose to communicate achievements and progress externally.
When is the ESOS phase 4 deadline?
The qualification date for ESOS Phase 4 is 31 December 2026, with the Phase 4 compliance notification deadline set for 5 December 2027. Progress Update 2 must be submitted by 5 December 2026.
