Our Assessors will work with you to develop and agree on an energy audit schedule that allows the inspection of all areas of significant energy consumption, whilst providing you with the best possible value. Depending on your sector, the audits will incorporate site specific processes, for example manufacturing processes, site activities or areas of special interest.
On attending site our assessor will carry out an audit to determine the reasons behind energy use, including the systems or processes that drive energy use across the site. Each area of significant energy use will be surveyed and documented to identify any and all possible energy efficiency opportunities that can lead to a reduction in energy demand or energy expenditure.
After attending site to gather evidence, the assessor will review and develop the information obtained to identify energy efficiency improvements across each site and the whole client portfolio. As part of the process, the assessor will also identify any possible non-energy benefits such as improved occupant comfort, greater staff awareness of energy use or possible improvements in manufacturing quality. Our energy audits identify substantial additional non-financial benefits that can help to improve the workplace, lead to a reduction in costs, or an improvement in product quality.
Following the audit and identification of potential energy saving opportunities the assessor will produce a report outlining the energy use of the client, potential drivers and factors affecting energy use across the sites and overall portfolio, incorporating benchmarking wherever possible. The report will also include details on the energy auditing methodology as well as the findings of the energy audits, including both energy and non-energy related factors within the energy saving opportunity report.
